“Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.”
(Prov. 3:5, ESV)
This verse is very familiar, but very difficult to actually live out. Imagine your life if you could really trust in the Lord with all your heart. What would that do to your worry and anxiety? How would that change how often and how you pray?
Parents often find it easy to worry and be anxious about their children. This Sunday as we look at gospel-centered parenting, we will consider the element of faith in parenting. God is honored when we trust him with our kids, and not when we trust our own methods and understanding. I pray that God would bless us and help us as we work through how to be a gospel-centered parent this Sunday.
